Arriving early or leaving late? Plan your first and last day in Göreme
A flight arrival is not your hotel arrival. Airport procedures and a shared transfer can take time, while your room follows its own check-in schedule. Keep the first and last day flexible and put the most time-sensitive sightseeing on a full day.
Before you arrive
Send the flight number, airport, arrival date, guest count and luggage details when arranging a transfer. Nevşehir Kapadokya (NAV) and Kayseri Erkilet (ASR) are different airports. Use the full hotel name and address. For a shared shuttle, ask about meeting instructions and possible waiting; for bulky luggage or child seats, request confirmation.
An early-arrival afternoon
Century’s normal check-in starts at 14:00. Ask in advance about luggage storage and any early-room option; neither should be assumed. Our suggested first afternoon is a relaxed Göreme walk, a meal and an optional short viewpoint visit. Keep a full Green Tour or a long drive for a day when you have rested.
A balloon morning and breakfast
Put a requested balloon flight on an early available morning, leaving another morning free where possible. Weather and official permission decide whether flights operate; a hotel terrace cannot guarantee a particular balloon view either. At Century, breakfast is 08:00–10:00. Ask ahead about an early sandwich if your departure is before service.
The final day without a rush
Check-out is 11:00. If your flight is later, confirm baggage storage and a transfer pickup before adding an activity. A late checkout depends on availability and may cost extra. Allow the transfer provider’s advised airport margin; do not schedule a fixed return time from a tour against a tight flight departure.
